Green Beans
Green beans are also known as French beans, string beans, and runner beans. Although they are commonly referred to as string beans, most modern varieities no longer have the string. Green beans probably originated in Central America and Southern Mexico. These beans are often a deep green in color with points at either end. These beans are picked for consumption while they are still young on the vine. Green beans are crisp and flavourful.
