
Italian parsley has a leaf shape and color similar to cilantro. The 3 part leaf will range in size from ½” to 1 ¼” with a slender stem. Italian parsley can also be identified by its distinctive, pungent flavor and aroma.
Handling
» Practice first in, first out- first shipments received should be used first.
» Do not soak for extended periods of time. Excessive moisture can cause the parsley to darken, lose flavor and become limp.
» Limit the time the product is out of refrigeration, do not allow the unused product to reach room temperature.
» Never place the case or raw product on non-sanitized kitchen counter tops to help prevent the potential for cross contamination.
Preparation
»Prepare as needed. Try not to use product from the previous day.
» Rinse thoroughly before preparation.
» Remove or cut away yellow, brown and water soaked leaves. Immediately store prepped product into refrigeration
